Next up on the Moon Dance line-up are Monkey Trap – a local band serving up a lively mix of Ska, Indie and Pop guaranteed to get the festival field moving.

The band describe themselves as "4 old codgers who play together", but don't let that fool you. These experienced musicians know exactly how to entertain a crowd and deliver the kind of feel-good set that summer festivals are made for.

🎶🌙 Coming to Moon Dance 2026 – Old Mercia 🌙🎶

We're delighted to welcome Old Mercia to the Moon Dance stage this July.

This talented five-piece folk-indie band may now call Royal Tunbridge Wells home, but their roots lie in Lichfield, a city in the heart of the ancient kingdom of Mercia.

Having somehow all found themselves living near each other once again, they did what musicians do best – they got the band back together.

Blending folk influences with indie energy, Old Mercia create the kind of music that feels perfectly suited to a summer festival afternoon. Whether you're discovering them for the first time or already a fan, they're guaranteed to be a highlight of the day.
