Still smiling after receiving this message from Hawick Men's Shed 💛
“Thank you very much for the very generous donation to the Hawick Men’s Shed. The money has been used to purchase the items shown below… They are a very welcome addition to our woodworking shop and are free to use to all members.”
What makes this even more special is that these donations came directly from ticket sales and funds raised on that amazing day back in August at Tunes by the Teviot. Seeing those good vibes turned into something so practical and long-lasting for the community is just brilliant.
Huge thanks to Tony and everyone at the Shed for sharing how the funds have been used. This is exactly why events like that matter.

Hope everyone’s recovering nicely after Hogmanay! 🥳✨
We thought we’d share this brilliant photo of the Hawick Scout Pipe Band from the Edinburgh Torchlight Procession on Monday night (was it Monday? I'm so lost with the days?!) - anyway... don’t they look incredibly smart? 👏🖤
We’re proud to say that the money Tunes by the Teviot donated went towards buying new black socks for the whole band, helping them look the part as they represented Hawick so well on such a special night. What an honour!
A huge thank you again to everyone who bought tickets to Tunes by the Teviot last August 💛
This is just a wee snapshot of what your support and ticket money went towards - and we couldn’t do it without you.

We’re absolutely delighted to see the difference your support makes in the town 💙
Thanks to the money raised at Tunes by the Teviot, we were able to donate some funds to Hawick Boxing Club, who were then able to purchase new groin protectors for their young boxers - an obviously essential bit of kit that helps keep them safe as they train and compete.
The photo shows Shea Tierney (left) and Cooper Davies (right) proudly wearing their new protectors, bought with the funds we donated to the club.
It’s moments like this that remind us what Tunes by the Teviot is all about - community, young people, and backing local talent. Thank you to everyone who supports the event and helps make things like this possible 👏🥊

Here’s a look at the cheque presentation to the Dementia Cafe Hawick, with Jim Sykes and Karen Kitson accepting the donation on behalf of the group.

They’re one of five incredible local groups who each received £250, all raised through this year’s Tunes by the Teviot event.

We would like to thank everyone who attended yesterday's event . Everything fell in our favour this year ,weather was perfect ,sun , and no wind.
We hope you enjoyed the entertainment and we would like to thank our vendors ,it was a shame for the coffee end as trying to sell coffee in that heat was impossible.

We will inform you of the amount raised once everything is sorted out.

Tomorrow’s the big day! Here’s everything you need to know before you join us for a fantastic day of live music by the Teviot:

🎟 Tickets & Entry

Please bring your ticket or e-ticket to permit entry.
Each ticket is valid for one attendee from 12:30pm.
Family tickets = entry for 2 adults + 2 children.

You’ll receive a wristband on arrival for exit/re-entry.
Bag searches may be carried out – thank you for your cooperation.

🍹 Alcohol & Refreshments

Strictly over 18s to purchase alcohol – ID may be requested.
Only alcohol purchased at the event may be consumed.

🎒 What You Can & Can’t Bring

✅ Deck chairs & picnics welcome
✅ Assistance dogs only
❌ No gazebos or windbreaks
❌ No glassware or sharp objects

🚗 Travel & Parking

Strictly NO parking at the event site.
Drop-off point: Teviot Crescent entrance

Bake and inflate will be providing the bouncy castle and giant games fun! 🏰

🎧🪩🎪And new for this year, we have a SILENT DISCO tent too!!

⛔ Oh, and just for the big kids 😜 Hiccup bar will be ready to quench everyone's thirst in between all the fun 🍻
