"It's take a whole village to raise a child."
I just heard someone say on a national TV programme that this attitude removes the responsibility from the child's parents. I think that's nonsense.

My child's life, opinions and knowledge were strengthened by those she met, particularly those who stayed close. I don't feel I delegated any responsibility though.

What do you think? Do your children have a village surrounding them?

30 years on, Scotland still remembers. Not just today but every day.

The massacre at Dunblane changed the country forever. The tragedy also showed the strength and compassion of a community that refused to let hatred define it. It is important we never forget what happened and what came afterwards. All of it.

Today we remember the 16 children and their teacher. We hold their families and the people of Dunblane in our thoughts.

Unsure what happened to my post but here it is:
Today is about standing together — supporting, uplifting, and empowering one another. When women support women, incredible things happen. Stronger communities, louder voices, and a future where every woman has the opportunity to thrive.

Let’s continue to fight for equality, but mostly celebrate achievements, and stand united — today and every day.
