As we head off on our summer break, may we take one final opporrtunity to thank everyone who has supported Hawick Reivers Festival this year.

From those who attended our events, the businesses who offered their help, our hardworking organising committee and the many volunteers over the course of our big weekend; we are extremely grateful to have the support of so many!

We've just about recovered from last weekend, but we aren't quite ready to have a proper break just yet... 😅

Our hardworking committee will meet next week to discuss how our festival went, and that's why it is really important that we hear from those who attended the 2026 Festival!

Just like that, Hawick Reivers Festival is over with for another year! A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has supported our events over the last four days, whether local to the town or travelling from afar 🙌

On the whole, the weather was kind to us and everything went as it was supposed to. A big thank you to all those who volunteered and helped put on the various events across the festival. Without the hard work of the committee and our volunteers, the festival simply would not be able to go ahead.

Time for some rest! 😴

This morning’s guided walk may have been a bit of a washout, but we’ve rounded off the 2026 Hawick Reivers Festival in wonderful fashion - with a delicious High Tea and informative/entertaining guest speaker Alastair Redpath!

Our annual high tea is well underway at Hawick Rugby Club, a nice and relaxed way to round off our 2026 festival!

Some highlights from last night, as we enjoyed our torchlight parade and fireworks display before the return of our Saturday night banquet!

We're onto DAY FOUR - the final day of Hawick Reivers Festival 2026!

Starting at 10am, Ian Lowes will lead another guided walk around the historic sites of the town that were influenced by events before, during and after the Union of the Crowns in 1603. The walk, approx. 1.5-2hrs in length, will start and finish at the Civic Space/Hawick Heritage Hub.

Then, from 4pm at Hawick Rugby Club, a sold-out High Tea audience will enjoy a two-course meal followed by this year's guest speaker Alastair Redpath. His talk will be on "Pacifying the Borders: King James’s Forgotten Witch-hunt"

We can't wait to round off this year's festival with you! 🙌

We think around 1000 of you supported us tonight by participating in our parade and enjoying our fireworks display! 🤩

The committee puts hours and hours of unseen work into making the festival happen, and turning out in your numbers to enjoy these events makes everything worth it!
