We run intimate events focusing on the great outdoors, community, food, craft, culture and music in incredible locations on two of Britain’s most beautiful private estates. Each of our events aims to be the most friendly and inspiring anywhere. Currently we run Camp Good Life which is a small festival for under 1000 guests on the storied Hawarden Estate in North Wales. We also have Summer Camp, wh

ich is an annual event, running across four long weekends, for up to 100 guests on the Hawarden Estate. Our first ever one-day events, hosted within the storied Walled Garden of Hawarden Castle. We also run Camp Glen Dye, an occasional event for around 30 guests on the Glen Dye Estate in Kincardineshire, Scotland.

We’re looking for an events intern to work with us at Summer Camp 2026. ⛺️💥

This is one-off paid work over 4 weeks at our micro-festival Summer Camp at Hawarden Estate; ideal for someone working in hospitality who’s curious about the world of events and looking to take their next step.

The successful person will be required to support preparations during the three weeks leading up to the event, as well as work during the camp week itself.

You do not need a background in events. In fact, we’re far more interested in personality than polished experience.

If you’re someone who naturally puts people at ease, notices what needs doing before being asked, enjoys working hard as part of a good team, and can keep smiling when things get busy, we’d love to hear from you.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be part of the front-of-house team across Summer Camp weekend, helping create an experience that feels generous, relaxed and beautifully run.

This role is especially suited to someone who some hospitality experience.

This could include:
☀️Assisting with organisation & admin pre-event
☀️Assisting with setup and preparation ahead of the event
☀️Supporting logistics and general event coordination where required
☀️Being a focal point for guests, answering questions and assisting guests throughout the day
☀️Supporting talks, workshops & live demonstrations
☀️Supporting front of house operations, from morning breakfast service, to lunch & dinner, and bar work
☀️Being a calm, friendly presence wherever needed

Join our team 🔥

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and talented Chef Manager to run the food management, cooking and organisation for 130+ guests and entertainment at Summer Camp.

This role is a key part of the team and integral to the success of the event. The role is both behind-the-scenes and customer facing, with plenty of opportunity to learn and to work with our superb guest chefs.

Roles include but may not be limited to:

🧑‍🍳 Designing breakfast and lunch menus - all cooked over fire.
🧑‍🍳 Line managing additional chefs and KPs for the duration of the festival, including rotas.
🧑‍🍳 Management of food orders and storage, including any guest chefs coming on site.
🧑‍🍳 Liaising with all guest chefs for evening service, cooking demos and lunches ensuring they have the correct ingredients and equipment.
🧑‍🍳 Prepare and cook all breakfasts and lunches alongside the wider team.
🧑‍🍳 Organising and managing all staff meals.
🧑‍🍳 Ensuring all food costs are kept within budget.
🧑‍🍳 Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen
🧑‍🍳 Teamwork! 

Pay and Info:

📆 13th July - 21st July 2026
⏰ 8-10 hours a day
💰£180 per day
🍲 3 meals a day provided on working days.
🛌 Shared accommodation provided. Where required.

Summer Camp 2026 looks like this! 👆

This July we’ll take over ’s bucolic Walled Garden for the sixth year in a row, welcoming just over 100 guests to Britain’s best luxurious micro festival of food, craft, wellness and the great outdoors.

There will be feasts every evening from the fire, early morning wild swims, restorative yoga beneath the keep of Hawarden Old Castle, hands-on workshops, inspiring talks, expeditions across this historic estate, proper coffee, super comfortable accommodation and lots more to discover.
