Working alongside expert tutors, Living Crafts is a rare chance to try out new hobbies and learn new skills. The Workshop Pavilion at the heart of the showground is always a hive of creativity with a wide range of activities for all ages and abilities from mindfulness art to jewellery making. Choose from dozens of different workshops and create your own work of art, ceramic sculpture or even shape a longbow. Living Crafts is a wonderful opportunity to share some quality time with your family and friends. Take a digital detox and de-stress! Serving up mouthwatering treats, our speciality artisan producers have a tempting range of savoury and sweet treats and some tasty tipples for you to take home. When you're ready to relax, there's a choice of delicious and authentic flavours from our street vendors and in the Eaton's pavilion catering for a range of dietary requirements. Grab a coffee, take lunch or enjoy tea and a cake whilst you kick back and listen to some live music. Creating a quintessentially British atmosphere, take a break and relax to the sound of live music provided by local jazz and brass bands and choirs In keeping with the time of year, we also have local schools dancing around the Maypole!
