We are delighted to announce the entry numbers for the forthcoming Great Yorkshire Show (14-17 July 2026). Please note that these are numbers entered, and may not necessarily come forward on the day, so please don’t plan your day based on these numbers.

We are anticipating a busy Show, so to avoid any disappointment, we suggest that you refresh yourself regarding our rules. (Shortened versions below). As in previous years, we will be closely monitoring the following:

There must also be a clear 7 days after ANY vaccination, before entry on to the showground. It is mandatory that all other horses/ponies/donkeys must have a previous valid vaccination record and have received a booster within the 6 calendar months of their entry on to the showground, also ensuring 7 clear days before entry onto the showground. Foals of 6 months of age or older must meet the Equine Influenza vaccination requirement.

Stabling - Reg. E9b - Refunds for stabling can ONLY be made if stables are cancelled (in writing or email) before noon on Friday 26 June, to enable the office to re-sell the stable. Stables bought and sold anywhere other than through YAS will not be recognised.

Organisers of the Great Yorkshire Show were saddened to hear of the passing of Bob Ellis last week.
He was Senior Course Designer at the Show for 13 years and was well known and much loved in the equine industry.

Bob was also Course Designer for the London 2012 Olympics. He retired from course building in 2019, after a career spanning more than 40 years.
A tribute will be paid to him by commentators around the time of the C**k ‘O North.
