The YEC comprises of two halls offering 5,372m² of indoor event space and is set in grounds that extend over 250 acres, providing the perfect setting to host a diverse range of events. Hall 1 can accommodate up to 2,800 people and Hall 2 can accommodate up to 1,600 people. We offer masses of free level access car parking on site and we pride ourselves in our friendly and flexible approach. As a wh

Did you know we’re part of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society? 🌱

That means every time you host or attend an event here you’re helping support farming, agriculture and education across the region.

A great example of that impact? Last week’s Countryside Days at the showground, where over 4,000 local primary school children came to learn where their food comes from and how it’s produced. 🚜

These free initiatives are made possible because profits from our venue go back into the Society’s charitable work.

With us, the events we host go further and make a real difference.

We’re delighted to announce that Vernon Kay’s BBC Radio 2 Dance Sounds of the 90s Live Tour will be joining us as headline support for Symphonic Ibiza.

Expect a full live set packed with huge 90s dance classics, straight from one of Radio 2’s most loved shows, bringing big singalong moments, hands-in-the-air anthems and the perfect start to a huge summer night at the Great Yorkshire Showground.
