We're listening. We see your comments, we read your messages, and we hear your frustration.
ποΈ The date change
We know itβs not ideal and we get why people are annoyed. After last year's event we were required to go through a full safety review before we could put this year's race on. That's not optional β we had to comply with it, and honestly we wouldn't have it any other way, because the safety of our runners, volunteers and spectators has to come first. That review took time, and when it was done there was only one date left that worked. It wasn't the one we wanted either, but it was that or no Potters 'Arf this year. And we weren't having that.
π The women's t-shirts
We haven't forgotten about this. The printing company messed up β one of the logos was transposed on the women's tees. We've been pushing back on them hard, and it's taken far longer than it should have, but it's now sorted. We're just waiting on a date for the corrected shirts and we'll let you know as soon as we have one.
Our long-term vision for the Potters 'Arf is simple: a proper community event, led by the community, with the people of Stoke-on-Trent at its heart. That's our focus, and it's something we're actively working to make happen. It won't happen overnight but every bit of feedback, good or tough, helps us get there - so thank you!
Weβll keep listening, weβll keep going, and we will continue to share updates with you along the way ππΌββοΈ
