ONE WHOLE YEAR 🥹😭

I’m not sure how we’ve got here.

One year of running a business, raising a family, trying to do a million things at once… a LOT of highs along the way and keeping it real here, a LOT of lows too 💔

There have been days where I’ve felt like I’m absolutely smashing it, and others where I’ve wondered if I’ve completely lost the plot 😂

But then… you walk through the door.

And you come back.

You bring your friends.

You recommend us. You tag us. You share our posts.
You order takeaways. You tell your family about us.

And suddenly it all feels worth it 💎✨

As a first-time business owner, I’ve learnt SO much this year.. about business, about myself, about trying to balance work and family, and most importantly, about how much a little business can grow when its community gets behind it 🥹❤️

Word of mouth has genuinely been everything to us.

We don’t have a huge marketing team or endless budgets.

We have you, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

So here’s a little look back at our first year. The things I’ve learnt, the moments I’ll never forget, and the people who have made it all possible!

We’re growing ❤️🫶🏼

We’re so happy to be in a position where we can take on two more team members and grow our lovely play café team ✨

We are looking for:

1 person for 3 days a week
1 person for 2 days a week

Shifts are 6.5 hours a day with sociable hours and set shifts 🙏🏻

We pay the Real Living Wage and most importantly, we have a really great team and a fun place to work 🎉

We’re looking for someone who is fun, reliable, confident and experienced, who enjoys being around people and is happy to get stuck in 🙌🏻

When our lovely Cara told us she was going on a trip to Kenya to work with a group of primary school children, we knew she just had to take our favourite book along!

The children in Kenya love it just as much as the children who visit host. 🐸🐻🐥

Books have a such a lovely way of bringing smiles to wee one’s faces 📚😊
