Set up started for Lanark's Wallace weekend. Go along to see medieval and Viking reenactors, falconers, children's workshops, have a go at archery and more. And entry is FREE at Delves Park 10-4 Sat, 11-4 Sun

Felt sorry for the reenactors on the battlefield at Azincourt yesterday evening. Half an hour standing in full kit waiting while the commentator introduced the action in French and English. Good job it wasn't hot.

No festival again this year I'm afraid. Thanks for all the queries 😊
We are working on something in a new venue for 2016, and at this stage are very hopeful we will be involved in a multi period history event next year.
As ever, keep your fingers crossed for the funding to come through.....

Less than two weeks till the start of Christmas!
Lanark Christmas Market Saturday 16 November 9am -5pm
Lanark High St will be closed to traffic and filled with 80 stalls selling crafts, gifts and specialist food & drink.
Don't forget the children's funfair rides, entertainment and the Christmas lights switch on.
