Getting legally married by the registrars first but leaving all the symbolism and storytelling to your independent celebrant truly worked for this couple !

There are ways to have your legal registration on the same day as your symbolic ceremony as long as wording clearly states they are not linked.

Each couple have their own desires and dreams for their wedding day - choose a celebrant who is experienced and prepared to work hard with each councils rules as they are different wherever you live / choose to get married.

We absolutely got there in the end and it was beautiful for Charlotte & Greg ❤️

Captured so wonderfully by (and yes, you can drink the whisky from a quaich in your ceremony with your independent celebrant 😉).

When you get home from delivering a wedding and the photographer is still there and she sends you this ' They are all singing your praises Kerrie, they couldn’t praise you enough and you were clapped for in the father of the bride’s speech and the groom’s speech! 🧡'

How blooming nice is that - had a little cry about that ! Keep going Kerrie............don't let the system get you down x

Well today’s wedding has been both incredible and an achievement !

Westmorland registration team kindly invited me to go and chat with them prior to the ceremony commencing so that we could align on how to transition professionally, legally and beautifully.

The registrars opened the ceremony and took great care of all legally binding elements and declarations then handed over to myself to deliver the wedding ceremony that we have been working on for month and months together once they had left the building - it was fabulous and the guests seemed to really enjoy how different and inclusive it was.

Everyone is bopping away now…..and hopefully there’ll be wine, whisky and pies galore for this fun loving couple and their guests ❤️❤️
