MEET THE SEEDS OF HOPE TEAM! 🪴

Introducing …

Rooted in the pioneering work of Incredible Edible Todmorden, their garden will carry forward a simple but powerful idea: that food can be grown anywhere, and when it is, it has the power to transform how communities connect, share, and care for one another.

What began in 2008 with neighbours planting herbs in forgotten corners of Todmorden has grown into a global movement, inspiring hundreds of groups across the world.

For Seeds of Hope, the “You Can Grow Anywhere” show garden brings that spirit to life. It celebrates the creativity and practicality of growing food in small, unexpected places.
We are so excited to share this community garden project with you as it takes shape! 🪴

The garden showcases the lived experiences of our service users through a variety of creative forms, with a mix of materials and artistic approaches reflecting the intersectionality of both Brunswick and the communities of Calderdale.”

Our team were invited to Harrogate Flower Show last week by the wonderful Sarah Owen-Hughes, head gardener at Rudding Park to speak about Seeds of Hope as part of the human gardener stage 💐

We really enjoyed chatting to Sarah and Faith Douglas and seeing the inspiring show gardens and floral displays. We were even donated some heritage fruit trees for our gardening groups by Mike Hirst!

You can catch up on all the interviews from the weekend on their instagram 🌿
