As we start a new week and reflect on a fantastic day at the show, our Committee Chair, Graham Mellor, has shared a few words…

“Halifax Show 2026,
What can I say? So many people to thank.
To all the committee who have worked tirelessly for the past few months, putting together what has to be one of the best shows I have seen. To all the volunteers who gave their time and energy to help and the Sponsors for their continued support.
To the section secretaries who go above and beyond to get exhibits and contestants to turn up and compete, and the traders, big and small, who bring such a variety of different things.
To the caterers who feed us, the judges who travel far and wide and, most importantly, you, the public, who come and enjoy the day with us.
We thank everyone for your support and look forward to seeing you all on August 14th 2027.”
