Summerheath Hall

Summerheath Hall Summerheath Hall is a community hall in the centre of Hailsham in East Sussex. The committee meets every three months.

Originally constructed in 1926, Summerheath Hall has been a community facility since 1959. The hall is run by a management committee comprising 3 elected members, 8 representative members (hirers) and 3 co-opted members of the public. We welcome new ideas and value enthusiasm from members and volunteers, new and old.

Join us on Sunday 28 June, 10am–4pm, for a special Centenary Open Day celebrating a century at the heart of our community.
Take a look at the wonderful collection of photos, memories and memorabilia that tell the story of the Hall and the people who have made it such a special place over the years. Whether you’ve danced here, celebrated here, volunteered here, or are visiting for the first time, we’d love you to come along and share in the celebrations.

Thank you to Hailsham Historical Society for giving Summerheath some exhibition space today in the High Street today until 3pm celebrating Sussex Day. A SNEAK PREVIEW of some of the lovely items we have to display on Sunday 28th June Centenary Open Day 1926 - 2026. Thank you to Holdance Studios for the music!
