HAILSHAM BONFIRE SOCIETY’s FLAMING FUN DAY!

The temperature is high and it’s looking good for Sunday 28th so make sure you bring your sun cream and enjoy a cold drink from our licensed bar, or one of the many other vendors, whilst watching one of the many acts we have to entertain you. We are working hard behind the scenes to make sure that this is a fantastic day for you, your family and friends! It would be great to see you there!

We also have a fantastic Grand Prize draw on the day which you have the chance to win one of 50+ prizes on offer. Tickets are available from HBS stalls on the day for only £1! You got to be in it to win it!

So come on over to WESTERN ROAD Recreation ground in Hailsham on Sunday 28 June and have a fantastic day!

Hailsham Bonfire Society’s Flaming Fun Day is not too far away and we have some great entertainment and activities for you to enjoy. We have also had an overwhelming response from Hailsham local businesses who have donated to our Grand Raffle. This will be drawn at the end of the day and you could be in for a chance of winning one of these fantastic prizes!!!!!
We can’t thank those enough who have donated and it shows that community is at the heart of what we do and these businesses have helped reinforce this, thank you to you all!

Tickets are priced at only £1 each. They can be purchased on the day at the Flaming Fun day or if you know a Hailsham Bonfire Society Member speak to them and you may be able to purchase tickets from them, if they have any left….

It’s that time of the year again when Hailsham Bonfire Society HBS invites you to its FLAMING FUN DAY! This is a FREE to enter event for all to enjoy and has so many things to see and do.

Evening everyone xx......

We are now starting to arrange our Flaming Fun Day at the Recreation Ground in Western Road on Sunday 28th June 2026.

We have stalls, food vendors, fair rides, bar, steam train, face painting, performing arena and so much more......It is completely free entry to the public so a great community day out that has been a fabulous success over the last few years.

We already have some bookings but are now looking for more stall holders, food vendors, coffee stalls etc etc. We would also be interested in any club or society that could perform in our Main Arena. Last year we had a beautiful sunny day and saw nearly 4,000 people so it's definitely an event NOT to be missed.

Hailsham Bonfire Society had a great attendance at The Sussex Annual Bonfire Carol Service at Holy Cross Church in Uckfield this afternoon. A large congregation of kindred societies attended a colourful parade and Christmas carols. HBS had their new Christmas Banner on display, a new banner with a Christmas twist.
