with Pull apart pork joints, sea salt crackling, sage and onion stuffing, apple and pear sauce, garlic and rosemary roasted baby potatoes and syrup and thyme glazed roots

New for 2026 we have Bearz Kitchen. Serving up some mouth watering meaty Caribbean BBQ delights.

Example menu

Breakfast

-Fresh bacon & sausage rolls
-Steak & egg hash
-Toasted breakfast melts (pulled pork, bacon, egg and cheese stacked and grilled in thick Texas toast)
-Chicken and waffles

Burgers, steak pots, pulled pork baps, smoked chicken wings and loaded fries

They will be breaking out the BBQ and going all out!

Next is Nina's taco truck returning for Solskin 2026. These legends serve up some truly amazing vegan food out of a their pink converted retro caravan

-Loaded Nachos & Dirty Fries

Bibby's Beans returns for Solskin 2026 serving a variety of drinks from their retro VW

Coffees, Lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, americanos, espressos, macchiatos, and iced coffees. Other Hot Drinks: Teas and hot chocolates. Cold Drinks: Milkshakes (in various flavours) and new for 2026 smoothies!

And of course we have Afon Mêl Mead Hall serving their legendary mead and Intrepid Brewing Company serving creamy pints!

🌞 The Viking Horde Assembles 🌞

25 days to go!

Hammer Horde's return to Solskin Festival 2026!

The Viking Training Camp returns - Get hands-on and learn shield, sword, axe, and bow skills from expert reenactors. Started in 2024, which was the first time ever anything like this was done at an event inside the Viking Society!

Daily Battles - Come and see our Viking reenactors, as they engage in battle in a spectacular show of strength and skill, each day's battle is unique so be sure to watch them all

Archery - Experience daily archery sessions led by the group. Learn the ways of the bow and fire arrows at targets. Fun and suitable for all

Guarding the Ramparts - The ramparts return to the festival again this year and the Vikings will stand guard and challenge anyone who dares to pass through

Kiddie Vike - A free event on Saturday for young Viking warriors to battle against Vikings!

Viking Encampment - Be sure to walk around the encampment and see their crafts and get a feel of their daily lives. Feel free to ask questions and even challenge them to a one-on-one game of hnefatafl
