Absolute barnstormer of a set from last night at a packed

Fronted by Immingham’s own Joel Smith, Corella have firmly established themselves the UK indie scene over the last few years and it’s great to see bands of this calibre coming to Grimsby.

Some big names have been cancelling arena concerts recently as music lovers become disillusioned with over-priced industry shows and look around for something that’s been missing…

Well, it’s right there on your doorstep. Grassroots scenes are where the magic happens. And that is why we are proud to be putting on this festival for the music lovers of Lincolnshire, featuring 24 original artists for less than the cost of arena parking.

Throughly enjoyed catching a bit of Starvin Sid & The Infernal Blues band yesterday at as part of Cleethorpes Cider Fest.

Used to love watching Sid play back in the day and it’s great to see his (now 8-piece) band as good as ever.

Here are some clips of him playing a bit of Van Morrison and Tom Waits.

The Cider Fest is still in full swing today. You can catch one of the SL artists in the afternoon alongside School’s Out and the Mardy Johnny Depps.

Last year’s festival featured local legend Leon Blanchard and his band the Tiny Giants, who played a driving, anthemic set for the evening crowd that packed out our second stage.

Here is a clip from what is, I think, an unreleased song; if anyone knows the title please let me know in the comments.

Cheers lads, was a pleasure.

Last year played a great set during the late afternoon slot on our second stage. Check out this clip from Streets of Promise, as well as their excellent debut album which came out shortly after the festival.

This year we are expanding our second stage following our move to and hosting it under a marquee courtesy of the good people at Lincolnshire Events Planners.
