Shop Local 26 was a great weekend to end the summer (although the weather ended a bit earlier than we’d have liked!) and we hope you all thoroughly enjoyed yourselves.

Well we were wondering what the weather was going to do yesterday and it pretty much did everything. From glorious sunshine in the afternoon to a lightning storm so intense that we had to cut the live music short for safety reasons - although the lads from We Run The Room were able to keep the party going for everyone in the clubhouse.

Many apologies to the fans that were hoping to see Ever, The Loving Memory and Ming City Rockers; it was a real shame those great bands weren’t able to play but we would’ve been putting people’s safety at serious risk and so it was the only option.

Massive thank you to everyone who attended, played and helped out yesterday. Here’s a few pics from what was a great day up until the weather lost the plot.

We’ve had an ace weekend and hope you have too. It’s been a brilliant showcase for local talent and everyone involved has done our town proud 👊
