Hey folk! Just a heads up. If you book an appointment drop me a message at the same time. I don't seem to be getting notifications of requested appointments.

A quick pedalboard build.

This was a simple board. No FX loops, just everything into the front of an amp. Nice and simple!

Note the signal flow is labeled on the bottom making for easier trouble shooting.

And sometimes you need to take things apart to realise that it’s a simple adaptor problem.

Here’s a tech tip for you!

Adding a DI to your tuner setup means you can hear what you’re tuning in your IEMs…adding a little modeller in front of that means you can change the sound however you’d like. Great for tuning acoustic guitars and a little distortion is great for identifying harmonics.

The looper in the Pocketmaster also means you can record a loop to play through your rig by plugging into the parallel out of the DI box, allowing you to troubleshoot without having an instrument attached to you.

Thanks for the idea!

Hey folk! It’s been a minute!

The past few months have been crazy busy with touring.

The last 6 mouths I’ve been in Indonesia, Australia, Japan, Europe and I’m about to head back to the US.

I’ll be back in the shop soon though!

Sometimes all it take is one wrong move and it’s all over…in this case, it was the dog.

This poor thing came in to be repaired after being completely broken in two.

Fortunately the break was along the grain so gluing and calming it back together was the best option. Due to the large surface area no splines were needed. I can’t promise it’ll never break again…but it definitely won’t be along the glue line.

575ft or 176m of custom looms and cables heading out to for Dom’s new rig build.

I know I’ve been quiet…but that’s only because touring has been so crazy busy lately. If I haven’t replied to you, feel free to drop me a message again.

People have asked, so here it is. This is current touring setup.

It’s very similar to the setup at the start of the year. We’ve just swapped the wireless out for UR4D and swapped the line driver for a noise gate (this also has a buffer on the output).

Still AD200’s into 8x10s. The Bass Tiny Terrors are backups. But they sound thunderous!
