Oktoberfest is coming to Great Ouseburn…

This year, we’re bringing the Bavarian vibes with an Oktoberfest theme – think steins, stripes, and plenty of lederhosen (optional… but encouraged).

And leading the charge? The brilliant Yorkshire Oompah Band with big brass, big energy and tunes you won’t be able to sit still to.

Expect:
🍻 Proper beer (of course)
🌭 Tasty food
🎺 Live music – oompah and beyond
🕺 Questionable dancing

🍺 REMEMBER THIS?

Back on the 4th October we all enjoyed a cracking day at the Great Ouseburn Beer Festival… pints were poured, pork buns were demolished, and many of you even danced.

Well, while you’ve all probably forgotten how many pints you had, we haven’t forgotten what a brilliant total you helped us raise…

🎉 £5,000! 🎉
All going straight to some wonderful village causes... Great Ouseburn Village Hall, Great Ouseburn Community Primary School, Ouseburn Cricket Club Supporters, Upper Ouse Conservation Trust and St Mary's Church.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, sponsored, volunteered, pulled, poured, lifted, carried, served, washed glasses, bought tokens and generally brought the good vibes. You lot are the best.

What a festival!

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to support the Great Ouseburn Beer Festival last night. Our village hall was absolutely buzzing!

From the little ones dancing by the stage to friends catching up over a pint, it was wonderful to see so many of you enjoying Great Ouseburn's hospitality together.

Special thanks to our fantastic live musicians who kept the energy going all day, and to all the breweries who showcased their finest.

We think these photos by Cynan Morris brilliantly capture the beer festival and show just what community events are all about - great beer, great food, great company, and genuine laughter across all generations.

Thank you Cynan! If anyone is looking for a budding, young, local photographer - look no further.

Unfortunately, we’ve had another strike of bad luck with photographers as the second one is badly injured and unable to make it.

We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Hayley Gaftarnick to the Great Ouseburn Beer Festival this Saturday!

Hayley’s a soulful singer-songwriter from Leeds with a voice that really grabs you – mixing soul, reggae, jazz, blues, Motown and 60s classics with her own originals. She’s played all over and we’re chuffed she’ll be joining us in the village hall. 🎤✨

Mark has done us all proud with a brilliant line up of musicians. So come along for awesome live music, great beer and good times!

🎵 14:00 – Tangentle Vibes – Smooth grooves, soaring solos, spot-on vocals.
🎵 15:00 – Robbie Miller – Local talent, heartfelt lyrics, sing-along vibes.
