🌳 Great Ayton Park Fundraiser – Village Fete Stall 🌳

We’re excited to say that we will be having a stall at the Great Ayton Village Fete on Saturday 13th June, where we’ll be raising money to go towards improvements for our much-loved village park 💚

We’re also on the lookout for some help from our lovely community…

👉 Stocks Wanted!
We know it’s a long shot, but does anyone have a set of stocks hiding away in the back of a shed or garage that we could borrow for the day?

🍾 Bottle Donations Needed
We’re collecting any bottles in wine bags for our bottle raffle — these can be anything at all, such as:
• Bottles of alcohol
• Bubble bath/toiletries
• Juice
• Fizzy drinks
• Water
Anything bottle-shaped is perfect and hugely appreciated. The only thing we ask is that all items are in date and unopened.

😄 Volunteers Wanted… if you’re brave enough!
We’re also looking for volunteers who would be willing to go in the stocks — all in good fun of course! Who’s feeling brave? 🤣

Thank you so much for supporting our park and helping us make it even better for everyone in the village 🌿
If you can donate, lend stocks, or volunteer, please get in touch

We wish them well with their plans to re-develop the playground. £500 has been used to support our Search and Rescue work and the remaining £200 will be used to fund some planned upgrades to the sleigh.

Many thanks to everyone in Great Ayton for your very generous donations. Only 345 days to go to this year’s Santa Sleigh……….

We would like to say a huge thank you to the Mountain Rescue Team for choosing us to receive donations from the Santa Sleigh Ride 🎄🎅

We are incredibly grateful to be supported by such an amazing service.

If you’d like to support, donations can be made on the day or online. Don’t forget you can also track Santa and the sleigh online to see when he’s coming to your area!

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far ❤️

A massive thank you to the Freemasons of Ayton Lodge 9595 for their incredibly generous donation of £1,000 towards the Great Ayton Park fundraiser. 🙏💙

Thanks to this support, our fundraising total now stands at £4,319 an amazing milestone for our community!

We know things have seemed a little quiet recently, but we’ve been busy working behind the scenes. Applying for grants, planning events and putting everything in place for a big push in 2026.

Your generosity helps keep the momentum going, and we’re so grateful to everyone who continues to support the future of our park.

Hi everyone. We know we’ve gone a bit quiet recently, but we’re still very much fundraising for the Great Ayton village play park! ❤️

So far, the total raised is £3,319.67, which is amazing — thank you so much to everyone who has supported us.

We’re hoping to organise another event in the New Year, so if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please feel free to send them over. We’d love to hear from you!

You’ll also find some of our charity boxes in a few local businesses around the village. Any donations popped into them are massively appreciated — every little really does help.

We did have to shut down the GoFundMe page, and the funds are currently being held by the Parish Council while we sort out a proper bank account. We’re a bit stuck on what type of charity/community account we need to open, so if anyone has experience or knowledge with this, any advice would be hugely appreciated.

Thank you all for your continued support for the village play park project! 🌳💚
