Newtons Fraction Half Marathon

Some of you probably already know that the main organiser and driving force behind the Newtons Fraction Half Marathon Keith Measures has sadly died.
His family and friends are trying to raise enough money to fund a bench in his name in the local park where Keith used to volunteer at Junior parkrun.
Crowdfunding is what it says on the tin - if we all donated just a £1 we wouldn't even notice it but together this can make a huge difference.

***Newton’s Fraction 9 October 2022: Cancellation***

Grantham Athletic Club is bitterly disappointed to announce that the Newton’s Fraction Half Marathon due to be held on 9th October is to be cancelled.
Moving the race to a congested autumn slot, the significantly low number of entries combined with the escalating financial risk before the club has led to the cancellation of the event.
The club would like to apologise to everyone who had signed up for the event and hope you understand. Registered runners will be contacted by email and arrangements will be made to provide full refunds.
