Sun always shines up here 😉

Voted Britain’s Favourite Walk!

Helvellyn via the dramatic narrow ridge of Striding Edge. The route up from the village of Patterdale, climbing steeply over Birkhouse Moor with amazing views down into the Ullswater valley. Then Striding Edge Grade 1 scramble all the way to Helvellyn’s wide summit plateau.

After enjoying one of the best views across entire Lake District National Park, we descend via Swirral Edge, another steep rocky scramble, before taking in the bonus Wainwright of Catstye Cam before heading back down the valley back down the valley.

Don’t underestimate the importance of mental and emotional well-being over material achievements like wealth and possessions.

Understanding this takes a shift in focus from the constant “hustle” to finding contentment and appreciating the present moment. True progress is an internal, qualitative experience rather than an external, quantitative one.

This a reminder to prioritize happiness and “being” over endless “doing” and “achieving”.

Don’t leave it until a serious life event makes you stop and realise how little time you have to wake up and realise. It might just be too late!

The best memories often stem from shared experiences and laughter ⛰️ Mountains provide an awe-inspiring backdrop that helps put life into perspective and fosters connection without everyday distractions.

The Little Things Matter 😍 The most important element of is simply being present with people who care. Slow down, live in the moment, and enjoy the fresh air and breathtaking scenery together without too much technology or distraction.

Could there be anything better for your mental health?

The awesome view from “The Diving Board” on Fan y Big back towards Cribyn and Pen y Fan wasn’t exactly the clearest. But some brave souls are happy living life on the edge… 😬

Last Saturday saw us tackle Pen y Fan on a beautiful autumn morning. A clear view for miles and light breeze is enough to fill your heart with joy. Being accompanied by a merry bunch, all grateful for the incredible experience days like this bring is the perfect recipe for making memories. A day to hold dear. Couldn’t ask for more! Thanks to everyone who joined me on one of the most enjoyable steps through life. 😍🙌

“We rise by lifting others” - Robert Ingersoll

Our own success, growth, and happiness are interconnected with helping and supporting those around us. By lifting others up through acts of kindness, guidance, and encouragement, we create a positive cycle that benefits everyone and fosters a sense of community and mutual success.🥰
