Graffham Festival 2024 comes to a close this weekend with the weather looking brilliant after the overnight showers - and here's the programme for today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday).

Both Saturday and Sunday

8am-8pm: Glory of the Garden floral display in St Giles Church. Free entry. Donations to the church appreciated.

All day: Love Your Burial Ground and biodiversity survey at St Giles churchyard

11am-5pm: Open studios trail - more than 15 village artists and craftspeople exhibiting at nine venues. Entry free. Pick up this guide at the Pavilion bit.ly/GF2024-art-trail

11am-5pm: Teas, coffee, cakes - and art silent auction - at the Pavilion.

1-5pm: Open gardens - around 18 gardens to wow you! Tickets
£5 a person, £10 a family. from the Pavilion.

Today Saturday

8pm Graffham's Got Talent r***e in the Empire Hall. Tickets only available now via the black market!

Tomorrow Sunday

10.30am: Festival thanksgiving service at St Giles.

From 5pm: End of festival party with steel band, BBQ and bar, at the Pavilion. All welcome!

8am-8pm: Glory of the Garden floral display in St Giles Church. Free entry. Donations to the church appreciated.

All day: Love Your Burial Ground and biodiversity survey at St Giles churchyard

Lunchtime: Ploughman's Lunches at the Glory of the Garden display at St Giles Church.

5pm till late: Folk at the Three Moles, with the high-energy foot stompin’ Noble Jacks and guests. Tickets at the door.

7.30pm: Painting the Modern Garden film, Empire Hall - a ravishing joy from start to finish. Doors and bar open at 7pm. Tickets at the door.

A magical, immersive journey from the gallery to the gardens that inspired some of the best loved paintings of all time by some of the most celebrated artists of all time. Enjoy Graffham Empire Hall’s new state-of-the-art audio visual system. Showing on Thursday 20 June in the Empire Hall. Doors and bar open at 7pm for a 7.30pm screening. Snacks available - and, of course, ice creams in the interval! Tickets available at the door.

8pm: Shake It Up Shakespeare, in the Empire Hall - a madcap contemporisation of the sort of play the bard may have written today with music and audience input. Tickets £12.50 from buytickets.at/graffhamfestival2024/ or at the door.

12noon-10pm: Fiesta at the Foresters - Spanish food and music at our village pub.

The bar's been set high on the opening night of Graffham Festival 2024 by the Benedetti Foundation Ambassadors string quartet playing in a St Giles Church full of beautiful flower arrangements for our Glory of the Garden display, after the bells rang out and wine and snacks enjoyed in a stunning neighbouring garden.

The signs are out, the wine's in the chiller, the school kids' paintings are on display, the Benedetti Foundation Ambassadors string quartet are on their way, the portaloos have been delivered, and St Giles Church is looking and smelling stunning with the breath-taking Glory of the Garden floral display set to receive you. Graffham Festival 2024 gets underway this evening.
The church will be open for you to see the amazing flowers from tomorrow (Saturday 15 June) throughout the festival daily from 8am to 8pm. There are still some tickets available for tonight's and this weekend's concerts - but several of the festival events are now sold out. For full details, see bit.ly/graffhamfestival2024
