We are a non profit organisation made up of 16 local committee members. We were set up 20 yrs ago as a Saturday raft race and music day, followed by the traditional Sunday gala day put in place to host 30 local branches of national charities coupled with some specific local charities. We give you 2 days jam packed with entertainment and music. We have a busy fair ground attending each year alongsi

de many attractions that we change each year, these can be seen on our website and our Facebook and Twitter pages. The busier we can get the event, the more people we can get there which means more money can be made for the charities which is what it is all about. Last year we made tens of thousands for the charities on the Sunday. That doesn't include the exposure they get from being there. All the committee spend 10 months planning and 4 busy days grafting over the weekend to make this event happen. ALL voluntary - trying to make a difference to our beautiful town of Gorleston and provide a free event for ALL the family to enjoy. From a 4 yr old on the spinning tea cups to the children and teenagers having a go on a mobile off road mountain bike course, through to adults of ALL ages enjoying music from show tunes and dancing in the afternoon, to Reggae and rock/indie bands playing through to 22.00. The Sunday night climaxes in a mesmerising firework display above our picturesque coastline (funded by GYBTIA / Visit Great Yarmouth). If you've never come along, it's worth paying us a visit.
