Goring Gap Players

Goring Gap Players The Goring Gap Players is a local Amateur Dramatic group
dedicated to producing theatrical performance

The Goring Pap Players are an amateur theatre group in Goring-On-Thames. We are dedicated to producing theatrical performances of a high standard - and to having fun! Our shows are intended to entertain the local community by presenting a mixture of well-known popular plays as well as introducing some less familiar works. We perform two major plays a year, one in Autumn and one in Spring, and in a

ddition we put on various other Events. As befits our location in the Goring Gap, we perform our plays both in the Morrell Room Streatley and in the Village Hall Goring. The group has about 50 members, split about half-and-half between actors and non-actors. We are a friendly group and would be delighted to meet anyone with an interest in any aspect of theatre.

Whilst you can just turn up on the night, it would be helpful if you could let us know if you're likely to attend by emailing [email protected]

There is no charge for your first attendance, but thereafter a nominal fee (to help with our costs) of £5 or £3 for a paid-up GGP Full Member is charged.

Actors need Crew - Crew need Actors

No drama group can succeed without both sets of people

We are extremely lucky to have an excellent choice of Actors in a wide range of ages at the moment and hope to continue to welcome any new person interested in taking to the stage - whether experienced or not.

We also have a strong Crew of Back-stagers, but would like more! This can be anything from set design, set building, sound & lighting, sourcing and dealing with props & costume and making coffee.

GGP aim to build a strong team in order to continue making
our productions so successful

Please contact us at [email protected] if interested
