I'll do the draw electronically using an app on the car park at 8.15 make sure to pay me ASAP so I can pay for pond and sort prizes. I'll be in the cafe collecting the money. If you are using the cafe please wear a face covering and try to stick to covid rules (I know it's not great but better to be safe than sorry) I doubt that we'll be allowed to drive round so it'll be barrows if you have one. I'll delay the start if need be to allow everyone enough time to set up.

The results will be decided on a combined weight, if a team is a man down they will receive an average for the missing angler.

The weather looks like light rain all day so a brolly would be a good idea or we could all pile in Eggies bivvy lol.

If the weather is putting you off going please let me know beforehand so I can fill your place.

Evening lads. Some info for the teams of 5 at Sykehouse on 8th May. We have 5 teams which I will draw at work on the 4th
It's £20 per man and there will be an optional £2 pool. All money to be paid on the day.
25 anglers x £20 = £500
Pond = £200
Winning team = £200
Runners up = £100
£2 pool will be shared dependent on numbers but most probably top 2

For those that don't know their way to Sykehouse, we will meet up at the services on A63 (pulse and cocktails) at 7am. Breakfast will be available from 7.30 at the fishery if anyone is interested.

The draw will be at 8.15 and we will be fishing from 10 till 4

It's own nets now at Sykehouse which must be dipped beforehand.
Could I ask that all the match anglers take any spare nets you may have for the carp anglers/ pleasure anglers to borrow.

BOILIES CAN BE USED AS HOOK BAIT ONLY.

THEY DO SELL PELLETS AND BAIT BUT YOU CAN USE YOUR OWN. THEIR RED PELLETS WORK REALLY WELL.

Alright lads, next fishing match is provisionally booked Moorfields farm for Friday 7th June (fishing 2.30 till 8.30) we've got 54 pegs so will be looking for 20 to 25 anglers. let me know if there's any issues with the date/time please.
