This is our Festival photo spot!

Looking back to an enjoyable Festival weekend a couple of weeks ago, which alongside four memorable and moving concerts featuring the Carducci String Quartet with guests including Charles Owen, Edward Derbyshire and Anton Lesser, also provided several opportunities for young musicians.

Photo 1 shows three of the four finalists in this year's Carducci Young Composers Competition, alongside the Quartet and composer Robert Fokkens. Still on a high from hearing their brilliant works performed by the Quartet in front of a live audience.

Photo 2 shows the talented young pianists and chamber musicians who took part in a masterclass with Charles Owen - always a treat to see Charles sharing his expertise and enthusiasm!

Save the date for what is unbelievably our 20th anniversary festival - 15-17 May 2026.
