Gloucester Shanty Festival Gloucester Shanty Festival 25th -26th May 2024 This year sees the return of the Tall Ships to Gloucester and the city will buzzing with life and Shanty.

Gloucester Shanty Festival returns for 25th and 26th May 2024 this year's festival is held at various venues in the city - celebrating the Maritime Heritage of the City of Gloucester through song with fantastic artists in this genre. The Pirate Walk takes place from 3pm at Cafe Rene too

Ahoy and best wishes to you all!
We’ve had lots of emails to ask about Gloucester Shanty Festival for 2025 which is amazing that so many crews want to be involved ⚓️
The festival itself is biannual and no shenanigans for 2025 but there are whispers below deck for 2026, nothing confirmed so please bare with!
In the meantime the same motley crew supported by Gloucester BID have a little something going on starting tomorrow……keep an eye out for The Rusty Tubs and The Gloucester Diamonds to name a few alongside some fantastic Folk, workshops and happenings ⚓️
