Alltech-Hartpury Conference

Alltech-Hartpury Conference Offering the opportunity to engage with equestrian based research, this annual conference is aimed at UG and PG students nationally and internationally.

This annual conference is aimed at Higher Education students, providing an opportunity to experience writing and submitting an abstract, through to delivering a poster or theatre presentation to a conference audience. This is often a daunting experience, however, the Alltech-Hartpury Conference allows students to present to fellow students and supervisory without the additional intimidation that m

ight be experienced at the larger industry based conferences. Attending delegates represent colleges and universities from the UK and overseas. Abstract submissions are invited from undergraduate and postgraduate researchers for theatre or poster presentations. Updates on key dates and submission themes will be posted regularly.

What a fabulous day for our 15th annual Alltech-Hartpury Student Conference! Whilst we didn't have the nicest weather, the quality of student work was the highest yet - the bar has been raised yet again! We had such a great time, we hope you did too!

We were joined by our 3 keynote speakers, Dr Jenny Burbage (University of Portsmouth), Dr Richard Newton (EIDS), and Dee So'oialo (The Performance Hub), who shared their research, career journeys, and knowledge with us.

We hosted 12 student oral presentations and 30 poster presentations from undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students studying equine, veterinary medicine, and animal science degrees at 7 institutions, and we were joined by nearly 100 delegates from institutions & organisations nationwide.

Both Alltech and Hartpury University and Hartpury College would like to offer their sincere thanks to all involved, especially the expert keynote speakers and the review team for their efforts in making this, once again, a very successful event.

We look forward to welcoming you back for ... Save the date! Saturday 22nd May 2027!
