Lavender Vespers Reminder 💜

Just a reminder that there will be no Lavender Vespers tomorrow (2nd June).

Our next Lavender Vespers will take place as part of the Glastonbury Pride After Party Rainbow Vespers on Sunday 26th July. We're looking forward to gathering together then for an amazing night!

✨ WHAT A NIGHT! ✨🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Last Tuesday’s Lavender Vespers was truly something special 💜

From powerhouse vocals and vintage glamour to chaotic comedy and fabulous drag, the room was filled with laughter, applause, and so much q***r joy. 🔥

Thank you to everyone who performed, volunteered, donated, shared the event, and packed out the venue — nights like these only happen because of this amazing community ✨

A special thank you as well to our chaotic sister Edith Atholl, who will be taking a little break from hosting duties.

We are taking some time to regroup, recharge, and that means there won't be a Lavender Vespers next month.

But don’t worry — we’ll be BACK for Rainbow Vespers 🌈— the Glastonbury Pride afterparty on Sunday 26th July ✨ And then Lavender Vespers returns on Tuesday 1st September 💜

Lavender Vespers has always been a grassroots, community-led q***r cabaret run entirely by volunteers alongside our full-time jobs, busy lives, and everything in between. We do it because we believe small towns deserve q***r joy, creativity, and safe spaces too 🏳️‍🌈

If you’d like to help keep our little cabaret going — please reach out. We’d genuinely love to hear from you 💌

We’re still floating on the magic of Tuesday night — what a joyful, chaotic, fabulous evening at Lavender Vespers! 💜

Summer Sette – Making her Lavender Vespers debut! A vintage glamour queen from Haus of Silk serving old-Hollywood elegance, burlesque sparkle, and diva energy inspired by the greats 💋✨

Lara Lee – Back yet again because she just couldn’t get enough 👑 Expect a return packed with charisma, chaos, and pure star power

Anthony Lu – Nottingham-born Neurodivergent Diva bringing powerhouse vocals, musical theatre magic, and full stage command after 11 years of performing 🎭🎶

Making their Lavender Vespers debut, please welcome Summer Sette to the stage. Part of Yeovil’s own Haus of Silk — because apparently we have to include at least one performer from Yeovil to meet our quota 😉

Summer Sette is a vintage glamour queen, bringing old-Hollywood elegance with a wink of mischief. Inspired by legendary divas like Shirley Bassey and Marilyn Monroe, Summer serves timeless beauty, burlesque charm, and polished glamour from every possible platform. 💃

As an AFAB queen, Summer loves the transformation from nerdy girl clad in plaid to dazzling leading lady — and audiences are going to love every second of it.🤓
