Are you a volunteer?
Do you want to be famous?
Volunteering Week is coming up (1–7 June), and this year’s theme is “Volunteering looks like you.” Anyone can be a volunteer, and volunteers can be anyone!
To celebrate the diversity of our amazing volunteer community (and encourage even more people from different backgrounds to get involved), we’re putting together a video featuring short clips of people saying:
“I am a [your occupation] and a volunteer”For example:
I am a student and a volunteer
I am an engineer and a volunteer
I am a driver and a volunteer
I am a father and a volunteer
We’d love this to be as diverse as possible, so it would be fantastic if you could record a clip and spread the message to your friends and family!
A few quick guidelines:
Film vertically
Ideally film at a parkrun location or outside, with your vest
Make sure it’s high resolution with clear audio
Submit via the https://www.parkrun.com/feedback form by 18 May
