Pluto Q is an anarchist, anti-capitalist community space built on crip and q***r principles of mutual care.

We are a tiny, voluntary, all disabled team doing our best to keep things moving in an increasingly challenging context.

We get multiple requests every day from groups wanting to use the space, most of whom have no resources or funding.
30-40 groups use the venue each month.
Our average monthly income from venue hire contributions is £436.
Our bare minimum monthly costs are £2110.

We are not currently in receipt of any grant funding.
Most of our income comes from support work services we sell to individuals and organisations.
With services for disabled people constantly under attack, these contracts are harder and harder to find.

We have so many plans, schemes, and dreams for this space - But every one of them will require additional energy and labour.

If you would like to be part of our work to build kinder, brighter futures for our communities please consider joining us as an organiser and/or making any financial contribution you can to our efforts.

Get in touch by email to [email protected] to get involved.
Include your phone number if you would like to be added to our WhatsApp community chat.

You can contribute financially via the link in our bio or in person in the space.

Little reshuffle to make more cosy spots to coorie in and keep warm now the cold weather has blown in.

Stop in for a hot drink after a winter trundle through the park, or meet some friends for a board game - Nordic edition Ticket to Ride is especially thematic and optimised for 2-3 players!

Regular game night on as usual tonight 6:30pm onwards - no D&D this week so it’s board games galore.

We get lots of compliments about the art in the Reading Room, most of which is by the wonderful Gillian Eilidh O’Mara Artist - Take a look at the winter collection just launched and grab some little bubbles of light for your own space. The calendar seems to us like an especially gorgeous way to track the days as 2026 begins!

Thrilled to say that my new range of prints, cards and 2026 calendars is now available on my site! (Link in bio).

I owe a very big thanks to Naomi and her IT wizard husband Andy for helping me pull all this together and for generally being the best friends a woman could ask for. ♥️

We have begun working with an elite gallery printer in Scotland, so you’ll see the print quality on the new stuff is dramatically upgraded. We printed a small batch initially but if there is an artwork of mine you don’t see and want to have, PLEASE tell us and we’ll make it happen.

The calendars are, as ever, sized with white borders so you can cut out and keep all the images. Many people have sent me photos of whole gallery walls they’ve created using my previous calendars, and the paper is nice and thick.

Thank you all and tell your friends ♥️
