We are truly delighted to announce that we will be joined this Saturday by the awesome DUMPLING MAMA!!!

Dumpling Mama brings handmade Cantonese-style dumplings, freshly prepared using quality ingredients and a traditional steam-and-pan-fry method for the perfect juicy filling and crispy base. Expect bold flavours, comforting classics, and premium options - perfect with a cold b**r.

FOOD BANK ANNOUNCEMENT
** Don’t forget - as alway, as well as a portion of all profits going straight to Drumchapel Food Bank we will also be accepting charitable contributions in the form of food donations. A small shopping bag of dried, tinned goods or toiletries goes a very long way. These donations are the back bone of the charity and might just save someone’s life. Let’s not forget those in need this weekend and remember what WEBF is all about! Donations or not, we can’t wait to see you all again at our new home SWG3 Warehouse!

SURPRISE ADDITION - OVERTONE BREWING (Glasgow)

Guess who's back??? Incredible news, which I'm truly delighted to share!

After shutting up shop earlier this year, Overtone are back!!!! Whilst I do have some information, it's not really mine to share - but they're going to be joining us at Glasgow's West End B**r Festival this Saturday, so you can ask them yourselves! That said, I will say this... THERE WILL BE NEW BEERS!!!! Here's what they had to say:

"Overtone is back in the brewery with a new range of b**rs in the works that we’re really excited to share. We’re introducing new additions to our core range alongside the limited release b**rs that Overtone is known for, with plenty of new ideas in the pipeline.

We look forward to sharing them and reconnecting with the b**r community. We’re really looking forward to being back at West End B**r Festival, meeting local breweries, b**r drinkers and seeing some of the local Overtone fans who have supported us over the years."

BREWERY SHOWCASE - DOOKIT BREWING (Glasgow)

With just 4 days to go till the 2026 Glasgow West End B**r Festival at SWG3, we're excited to introduce another small independent local producer...

'Dookit Brewing is Glasgow's wee but mighty micro-brewery, playfully making b**rs for all to enjoy. It's a one person operation, run by Harry, and it is fully independent too.

Artisanal in nature, the large majority of the brewery's processes are done by hand. The Dookit brand reflects these creative ways by displaying a bespoke artwork front and centre on every can label, made by an artist based in or around Glasgow.

Based in Tollcross, in the east end of the city, Dookit Brewing creates high-quality b**rs using low-intervention methods. Whenever possible, the focus is on sourcing local and sometimes foraged ingredients, gathering what Scotland and the UK offer and making the most of them.

The big dream is to open a neighbourhood bar and gallery space someday and call it The Dookit. Let’s celebrate the artistic brilliance of this Dear Green Place and become inspired to brew outstanding b**r. After all, the art of brewing is something to be cherished.'

BREWERY SPOTLIGHT - Vitamin Sea Brewing (Massachusetts)

Whilst Glasgow's West End B**r Festival has a reputation for promoting independent Scottish breweries, we do sometimes like to invite breweries from further afield, and when the opportunity presented to get our hands on three kegs from Vitamin Sea, we simply couldn't say no!

Opened in Feb of 2019, with it's roots firmly planted on the South Shore of MA, Vitamin Sea Brewing has quickly gained a reputation for its diverse range of craft b**rs including IPAs and stouts.

We have limited amounts of each b**r, so will have to restrict this to 1/3 pint per pour, just to make sure it goes around. This will sell out, so come early or miss out.

These are going to be sold as break-even kegs, so cost price pours... Details below:

Elusive (6.8% ABV - Untappd 4.16)
Brewed with the timeless trio of Citra, Simcoe, & Mosaic, this hazy IPA bursts with vibrant notes of ripe mango, juicy peach, pineapple, & citrus. Layers of passionfruit & mixed berry are complemented by subtle hints of pine & dank resin, creating a balanced hop profile with plenty of depth. A pillowy mouthfeel & soft bitterness let the tropical flavors shine from the first sip to the smooth, refreshing finish.

Dank Is the New Juicy (6.4% ABV - Untappd 4.19)
Bursting with juicy hop character, this hazy IPA showcases a vibrant blend of Galaxy, Citra, Amarillo, & CTZ. Waves of ripe passionfruit, mango, peach, & citrus lead the way, while Amarillo adds bright orange zest & subtle floral notes. CTZ provides a gentle backbone of dank pine & resin, balancing the fruit-forward profile with just the right touch of bitterness. Soft, pillowy, & endlessly drinkable, it’s a tropical hop showcase from the first sip to the last.

This is My Happy Face (8.1% ABV - Untappd 4.19)
Put on your happy face. This juicy DIPA bursts with waves of ripe mango, peach, pineapple, & bright citrus from an expressive blend of Citra, Amarillo, & Galaxy hops. Columbus adds a touch of dank resin & subtle pine, while Magnum provides a clean, balanced bitterness that keeps the lush fruit character crisp and endlessly drinkable. Bold, soft, and overflowing with tropical flavor.
