PRODUCER SPOTLIGHT // RAFIKÏ COFFEE

Based in Edinburgh and founded by Benjamin Murenzi, Rafikï Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster and supplier sourcing high-quality beans from East Africa since 2019.

Inspired by Benjamin's childhood where he grew up amidst Rwanda’s green and luscious coffee fields, Rafikï aims to share the finest African coffee with the world.

“Our carefully selected beans are roasted in small batches following a precise roast profile that we have developed to bring out the best flavour and aroma of the beans. With this micro-roasting procedure, we can ensure consistency and freshness of our coffee and deliver the greatest amount of flavour.”

Rafikï Coffee also supports Rwandan students by funding for their education through coffee imports to Europe.

Benjamin co-founded Tanifiki café in Portobello, Edinburgh with South African business partner, Jonathan Quinton which offers an authentic African coffee experience.

Rafikï, Swahili for 'friend,' embodies the spirit of connection and community. Savour Rafikï's exceptional coffee at Scotland’s LADHA and experience the warmth of African hospitality. 🌍☕
