Scotland captain Andy Robertson and his wife Rachel are set to headline a special charity auction featuring two standout collector’s pieces, with all proceeds supporting their charity, AR26.
The ten-day auction, launching on May 1st, will offer bottle number 26 of the Official Tartan Army 28-Year-Old Scotch from Finn Thomson Whisky — a rare and highly coveted release — alongside an original oil portrait of Robertson by acclaimed Scottish artist Mark Sib.
One hundred percent of the proceeds will go directly to AR26, helping the charity continue its mission to create opportunities for young people across Scotland.
The striking portrait captures the intensity, leadership and pride synonymous with the Scotland skipper, rendered in Sib’s distinctive and expressive style. Known for his powerful depictions of sporting icons, the piece offers collectors and supporters a rare opportunity to own a visual legacy of one of Scotland’s most influential modern footballers.
The featured whisky embodies Scotland’s heritage and craftsmanship, matured for 28 years to deliver remarkable depth and character. Bottle number 26 carries special significance, reflecting Robertson’s iconic squad number at Liverpool FC and his long-standing association with the club. As he approaches the latter stages of an outstanding Liverpool career, the bottle stands as a symbolic tribute to a defining chapter in his football journey.
Speaking ahead of the auction, a spokesman for Robertson said:
“This is a special opportunity to bring together two things that represent Scotland so well — our football and our whisky — while raising funds for a cause that means a great deal to Andy and his family. Every bid will help create real opportunities for young people across the country.”
The auction will run for ten days from May 1st via https://www.scotchwhiskyauctions.com/ with bidding open to collectors and supporters worldwide.
