TGW FESTIVAL INFO - Sat 4th 2023
Please read our festival info ahead of tomorrow. We're excited to welcome you all to TGW 2023! 🎉

WRISTBANDS
Full festival ticket holders will need to collect their wristbands and programmes before they can access any venues.
The wristband collection point is at Maryhill CCH. Collection will be open from 12pm (midday) on Saturday until approximately 10pm at night. The collection point is in the foyer just as you walk into MCCH.
If you have a venue-specific ticket, just travel to the venue you have a ticket for, and you will get your wristband for the venue.
Here are the venue only collection / door times.
Hug & Pint - 12.30pm
Piping Centre - 3pm
Mac Church - 3.30pm
MCCH - 12pm (same for full festival customers). Venue doors 2pm.
If you have a venue-specific ticket, but want to upgrade to a full festival ticket, then head to Maryhill CCH on the day and we can sort you out! We will not be holding full festival wristbands at any other venue.

STAGE TIMES
Please see below our full festival square and individual venue stage times.
Given the size of the festival, there may be slight adjustments on the day - we recommend that you keep up to date on our official instagram for any last minute changes. We will try and keep these to a minimum!
With a multi-venue festival, there may be points during the festival when venues might be at capacity - so if anyone really wants to see a specific band they are heavily advised to head there earlier than just before their set.

SAFE AND ACCESSIBLE SPACES
We are committed to making sure The Great Western is accessible, and that each of our venues are safe spaces. If you have any accessibility requirements or questions, just speak to staff on the day. If you see any behaviour in any of the venues that you find troubling, please speak to a member of staff

WEATHER
It looks like it's going to be mild, and mostly dry. This means walks between venues shouldn't be too cold or wet, but we do recommend you dress for winter in Scotland!

BARS & PAYMENTS
There will be bars in all venues! Cash is preferred on the day to prevent long queues and crowding, but we do also accept card. There are ATMS close by to all venues to take cash out. Please be patient and respectful to our bar staff during the day.

AFTERPARTY
Join us at Nice N Sleazy for the official Great Western Festival after party! Kicking off from 11pm, and going all the way til 3am, keep the party going after all the fun and festivities of The Great Western, with some big bangers from Fantastic Man, felicita and O. (live set). Entry is free for all ticket holders before 1am. £5 OTD after 1am.

And that's about all the info you need right now! Please remember to be considerate of residents and neighbours, don't drop litter when you're walking between venues, be nice to staff and other gig goers when you're at gigs, and just have a bloody good time!
