In 1893 two adjacent town houses on Bath Street were transformed by architects Honeyman & Keppie, employing Charles Rennie Mackintosh, into the magnificent Clubhouse which stands today. Over the years the Club has evolved from a world solely occupied by the Arts into a diverse hang out for artists and non-artists alike - a melting pot of people of all ages, from all backgrounds, working in all pro

fessions. Fully licensed, with food served daily in the dining room, there is also a bustling diary of events with everything from live music and Burns Suppers to artist demonstrations and life classes. There is something for everyone at the Glasgow Art Club.

We’re thrilled to announce the 137th Annual Open Exhibition — made even more special as we celebrate 150 years of the Paisley Art Institute 🥂

This is a year dedicated to creativity, community, and the power of art to inspire. Whether you’re a lifelong collector or simply love to wander and discover something new, this exhibition is not to be missed.

Fresh from a hugely popular, sell-out performance, acclaimed pianist Andy Alston joins forces once again with charismatic vocalist Alan McKenzie, alongside special guests, for an unforgettable afternoon session of jazz.

Expect dazzling musicianship, infectious energy and a packed room — this one is not to be missed.

The next musical performance is coming up. Don’t miss this one!

Celebrating George Gershwin tells the story of the all too short life of this remarkable American composer and pianist (1898 – 1937). His compositions spanned popular, jazz and classical genres and were written for orchestra, voice and piano, as operas, Broadway musicals and film scores. Jane, Christian and Derek present some of his most magical melodies, featuring favourites I Got Rhythm, Embraceable You, But Not for Me, Bidin’ My Time, Stairway to Paradise, Somebody Loves Me, Fascinating Rhythm, Someone to Watch over Me, ‘S Wonderful, Let’s call the Whole Thing Off and many more to get your toes tapping and make you want to hum along!
