Our brilliant free talks programme is back at Kelvin Hall this June.

Learn about everything from Glasgow's history from the architecture to the quirkiness of the West End.

Ever wondered how Hillhead grew from rural land owned by the powerful Gibson family into one of Glasgow’s most distinctive Victorian neighbourhoods?

Join historian and author Gordon Urquhart for an illustrated evening exploring the fascinating history of Hillhead — from its early origins and rapid Victorian expansion to its time as an independent (and surprisingly short-lived) Burgh.
