If you’re looking for an affordable, flexible venue in the heart of Glasgow's Merchant City, this is a great option if you're running:

You can book anything from a quick one‑hour slot to a full evening, anytime from 6pm onwards Mon-Wed.

As daylight begins to fade the Village Storytelling Festival will continue to deliver, showcasing the voices, traditions and creativity that make for a diverse and exciting storytelling scene in Glasgow.

We invite you to journey from the legends of Chiloé and the far reaches of South America to the rich folklore of the Gàidhealtachd, at our Sangs an’ Clatter events on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Experience the playful collision of tradition and innovation at Harp & Carp x Wildcard
Stories on Friday, then round off the festival in style this Saturday at the first-ever Village Storytelling Festival Ceilidh! - a joyous celebration of music, dance, stories and community.

If you're based in or around Glasgow, we've got a simple but satisfying task that we'd love to have your support with.

We're planning on giving some areas of The Boardwalk a fresh lick of paint and we're looking for people who don't mind rolling up their sleeves and adding a splash of colour. It's the kind of task where you can see the difference you've made straight away.

The Boardwalk is a social enterprise events venue run by Impact Arts. It's a buzzing arts hub in the Merchant City, dedicated to transforming lives through creativity, and keeping the space feeling vibrant and welcoming is a big part of that.
