OUT North East and the Social Enterprise Academy are proud to be partnering to deliver 6 free sessions tailored towards driving you to become a leader in your community.

🎨 Stained Glass returns to the ONE Centre!⁠

⁠Would you like to learn a new skill? Stained glass joined the 'red list' of endangered crafts within the UK in 2003. On average beginner courses can cost more than £50 per session.⁠

😊Not at the ONE Centre though!⁠

We are offering our beginner friendly stained glass course with our resident artist, Chris Dalton who has been teaching for over 10 years. All tools will be provided, in a safe space with her expertise guidance!⁠

All for just £7 per session, with 8 sessions available to attend.⁠

I'm really looking forward to speaking at the 2026 ‘Changing Times’ Conference, taking place right here in my constituency at The ONE Centre in Gateshead on Friday 6 November.

Too many LGBTQI+ young people in our region still grow up without the resources, language, or support to help understand themselves.

Organised by ReportOUT and OUT North East we'll bring together educators, youth workers and frontline professionals to share knowledge and practical tools needed to better support them.

We’re excited to announce our upcoming Christmas Fayre at the ONE Centre. We’re looking for local businesses, makers, traders, community groups and organisations to get involved!

We're taking a break from yoga. Why? Our very first yoga instructor, Gabi Collier, who has been with us from the start is leaving for South America. You'll be missed Gabi! 🙏

Another artist joins our community wall! Paul Jefferys, the man behind Cranial Art, is an independent artist who started by selling his pieces on the pavement of Northumberland. Check out his mind-blowing pieces which take a deep dive into the beauty of the brain!

We’re happy to help Paul and other local artists have the opportunity to share their work at the ONE Centre. Next time you pop by, check out the Cranial Art display in our Stonewall room.

Anyone wanting to attend our LGBTQI+ youth group (age 11-18), tonight which now runs every Wednesday from 6PM to 8PM, you need to make sure to fill out the sign-up form on our website.
