"Hi, it's Alex from Northern Powergrid. I've just tried to call you to provide an update about the power cut at your property. Due to a fault on underground cables our engineers currently estimate to have power restored between 21:30 - 22:30. We understand how difficult longer duration power cuts can be, so if you need any support or assistance, please get call 105. We will continue to keep you updated. Please note, 03303330411 is the number we call our customer from, so you may wish to save it."
Looks like power could still be off for over 3 hours!!

The right type of Hedge Fund!

🌿 Help us rebuild the Hilltop Hedge Fund! 🌿

Hedges can also be dedicated in memory of a loved one, with a personalised plaque.

Glad that having a GNP has led to more CIL funding but this development came from the Section 106 money for the Gleeson Homes development on Middlefield Lane. I was on the panel for this & the tendering for the playpark and very pleased with all the work put in by the officers of the Council to bring these projects to fruition. If you have needs in the Aisby Walk area please engage with the events we are running over the Summer Holidays.

While doing the consultation event about the Neighbourhood Plan Review a number of people asked me why the land between Heapham Road and the Aisby walk park by Dunstal Walk has been fenced off. I believe this is so it can be sold by the land owner for development in the future. My first casework in the East Ward was in 2005 about dumping in that area. It was then owned by the Thonock & Somersby Estate.

Acis Group out and about in East Ward make sure you get in contact with them and tell them your concerns about the area. I’ve noticed it getting messy between Dunstable Walk and Priory Walk/Teh Green again.

If the Gap was one of the Assets transfered to the Town Council it would make a great Dog Walk area for Uphills. It is on the boundary between East & North East ward Uphills. The Dog Walk on the Bayard Street extension is between the SW & the NW ward.
