After training all year on May 28th we will be attempting to the fastest marathon in the WORLD in a four person costume. Competing in the Edinburgh Marathon, we will be dressed as Vikings in a Longship, looking to smash the current World Record of 5hrs 25 mins and in the process raise over £10,000 for the Epilepsy Society and Lincolnshire LIVES

Very proud to confirm that we received news this week from Guinness stating that our World Record Marathon attempt has been officially validated and we are now title holders for 'running the fastest marathon in a four person costume. [FASTEST IN THE WORLD!!] We managed to turn a daft idea into reality and raise over £12,000 in the process for charity. The whole experience has been quite incredible, the support, the challenges, the laughs, the beards and friendships will remain something very special for a long time to come. To everyone who supported, donated, messaged, waved, piped car horns when we ran past - it was all truly awesome and I thank you on behalf of the Vikings!

Amazing the fundraising from our World Record Marathon run at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival still keeps coming in - we have now raised £11,611.00 for LIVES Emergency Responders and the Epilepsy Society ... with a world record to boot, I would say that is a job well done! WELL DONE to the incredible Vikings who finished the marathon in a provisional time of 05:03:04 👏👏

Nigel Burton, Martin Ward, Steve Tait and Chris Gale looked the part (they've been growing their beards since Boxing Day 2016!) and kept up a steady pace the whole way round, with the hope of setting a new Guinness WR.
