We cannot thank each and every person who came out yesterday enough. From the spectators who made it such a vibe - you all came with so much energy and joy! To the riders who gave that hill their everything - especially the Juniors and Waddlers, you SMASHED it! Our sponsors who made this ridiculous and mad event possible. And last but not least, our team - without each and every one of you it just wouldn’t have happened.

Can you help?

I’ve been trying to make sure that Palmer street is clear of parked cars in time for the 7am road closure tomorrow for the Cobble Wobble, but a significant portion of the street is still taken up by cars.

A) Are any of you parked there, in which case, would you mind moving before 7am? :)
B) Do you know anyone who might be (I guess most likely to be people who live nearby)? Could you pass this on to them?
C) Do you know of any other relevant whatsapp groups that may be able to share? Local residents groups for the area perhaps?

If you entered for our September Cobble Wobble then please know that you were refunded and your entry was not carried over to Sunday 23rd November (all entrants were emailed about this).

However, if you do want to ride this weekend then it’s not too late to enter!

Thank you all for being so patient with us! We’ve had a surge of entrants in the kids’ categories, which meant we needed to rejig the schedule before publishing it.

Ok, here goes:

Registration starts at 10:30 at Event HQ on Palmer Street

The opening ceremony kicks off at 12:00, with our cheesiest Cheese Lord doing his bit to bring some pomp and silliness. He’ll then ride up the hill shouting at everyone, just to make sure you all know things are about to get started.

The first rider will head up the hill at around 12:15 — this will be the under-16s taking on the full-length Cobble Wobble.

At roughly 13:15–13:30, we’ll move to the Junior Cobble Wobble, with entrants setting off from halfway up the hill.

After that, at around 14:00–14:30ish, the Cobble Waddle riders will head off, riding the final 20 yards.

Once those categories are complete, the over-16s will start from the bottom of the hill at around 14:30–15:00ish ish.

We’re expecting the finale to take place somewhere between 17:00 and 18:00ish ish ish.

We’re giving a range rather than fixed times because it all depends on turnout and how long each rider takes (anything from 20 seconds to 2 minutes!). We’ll do our absolute best to stick to the schedule, but please register at Event HQ on Palmer Street at least one hour before your earliest possible start time so you’re ready to go. We’ve got bike parking, and there’s plenty to see while you wait.

Age category results are calculated in real time, so there’s no need for riders to set off in a strict order. As long as everyone is in the correct event — and, for the full Cobble Wobble, in the right age group of either under-16 or over-16 — everything will run smoothly. Results will be visible online throughout the day on our dedicated timing website (which we'll share ahead of time, and via QR code at the event).

We’ll be making announcements about the schedule throughout the day, both over the PA and on social media, so please listen out for updates as things unfold.
