Launched by GB Runner Kyle Greig, the Moray Way Ultras series is a friendly, inclusive and stunning waymarked ultra trail series taking through winding rivers, pine rich forests, beaches, moorland, cliffs and distilleries. The race format is split into 4 race dates, which comprises of the entire Dava Way, The Moray Coast Trail and either the entire Speyside Way 100k, or the 50k route. In 2022 we l
aunched the Moray Way 100 Relay, where teams of up to 4 runners take on 12 checkpoints along the Moray Way, whether it be for themselves, for their workplace, or for charity. This means that it is not just ultrarunners who can experience the beauty of the area. The diverse scenery in this part of Scotland is unrivalled anywhere else in the UK and we believe this is one of the most beautiful trails in the world. The Moray Way route takes in an area rich in history; from Pictish settlements at Burghead, to the land of the 11th Century Scottish King Macbeth around Forres; from the original Highlands railway to the south which now forms the Dava Way path, to the whisky distilling heritage of the Speyside. It is a hotspot with tourists all over the world for a reason and for that we hope you choose one of our races, whether you are a seasoned ultra dafty, or a complete newby to the world of trails!
