Postponed for 2020, again in 2021, back again in May 2022
The focus of the Festival is celebrate the arts and culture of Forest Row, it takes across the village with the Forester’s Green being the hub. On the Friday we start at 5pm with music until about 11.30pm. On Saturday things will kick off some time around 10am (exact timing to be confirmed) and run until 11.30pm. On Sunday, we expect a sim
ilar start time with the music winding up at around 11pm. Thanks to the generosity of the community and our sponsors (including the National Lottery Community Fund) and the fundraising by our Festival Committee, the Festival is free to attend. That’s right, FREE, although we would very much appreciate a suggested donation of £10 per adult to help cover the costs. We are very grateful to everyone who helps to support the Festival. In 2019 we thanked Samco Services, Vektor Graphics, Mansell McTaggart, Mid-Sussex Timber, Hop Yard, Forest Row Parish Council, Taffels, Ziggy’s, Plawhatch Farm, and HJ Gentlemen. We couldn’t run the Festival without the support of a small army of volunteers, so we want to say a special thank you to all of them. If you are interested in volunteering over the weekend, please contact us. As well as the entertainment on the Green here will be events all around the village over the weekend. The Forest Row Festival has been running for over 20 years, having first been established as a celebratory finale for the annual Village Bike Ride, which is back again for 2019. Foodie heaven
The festival team have put together a mouth-watering selection of food stalls to cater for every possible taste. All are sourced locally, we can promise (coz we have tried them all!!) that they will be of the highest quality. Local crafts
As well as food, the market on the green will also feature an amazing array of local crafts, and (for the first time) a wellness zone. A ‘green’ Festival
In keeping with our community, we strive to make the Festival as green as we can. This year we are introducing reusable cups to cut down on litter and be friendlier to the environment.
