Dear Dashers,

We have some last-minute, VERY IMPORTANT updates for those running 5k or 10k! We have walked the course kindly provided by the farmers and want everyone aware of the following:

⚠️ Many areas are EXTREMELY uneven! This is a working farm, so the ground has lumps, bumps, and ruts caused by animals and farm machinery, which have been baked solid by recent weather. In some areas, these may be hard to see. Please be VERY careful. This is not a course for a PB!

🦡 there is a badger set with several large holes to go around marked with a traffic cone

🐰there may be holes that we haven't spotted made by other wild animals

🚗 there is one small road to cross at the beginning/end of the course. This will be marshalled, but you must listen to them and take care. There will also be marshalls at other key points.

🥵 whilst the forecast looks much cooler than in previous days, it is still very warm. You MUST carry sufficient water on the 5k and 10k routes. There are no aid stations, but water is available in the pavilion at the sportsfield.

🐕 Dog owners are responsible for deciding whether it is too hot for their dog. There will be water bowls at the pavilion. Dogs must be kept on a lead. Please pick up after your dog 💩

Less than 48 hours to go until the 4th edition of the Damerham Dash – and the good news is it’s set to be much cooler!

If you haven’t had a chance to enter online, don’t worry—we’ll be accepting entries on the day (both cash and card accepted).
Entry prices:

Kids’ Colour Run – £7
5km Run – £12.50
10km Run – £17.50

Medals for all competitors!

The 5km and 10km routes take you through the beautiful Damerham farmlands—areas not usually open to the public—making this a truly special run.

We’ll also have the BBQ fired up from 8:00am, along with cakes, teas and coffees (cash and card accepted).

A huge thank you to everyone who has already signed up 🙌 If you haven’t yet, don’t worry — we’ll be taking entries on the day for the colour run, 5km, and 10km races 🎨👟

Whether you're running, walking, or bringing your dog along (on a lead please 🐕), everyone is welcome!

🚗 Free parking will be available on the sports field, and the timings for the day are:

🌈 09:30 – Kids’ colour run (colour powder available to buy on the day)

We’ve made a few tweaks to the route this year to reduce any confusion and minimise repetition for our 10km runners — we hope you enjoy the new course! 🗺️

The Damerham Dash is back for its third year, and we’d love you to be part of it! 🙌
Choose between a 5km or 10km route, both set in the stunning countryside of Damerham Village 🌳✨

The fully marked, gently undulating courses are almost entirely off-road, guiding you along scenic bridlepaths and across beautiful farmland 🚜🌾 — areas not usually open to the public!

👟 Everyone is welcome!
Runners of all abilities can take part, as well as walkers and dog walkers 🐕 (dogs must be insured and kept on a lead).
