Has a shop in Addlestone and if planning a visit to the shop the best place to park is the large car park opposite belonging to Tesco and walk across to the shop on the opposite side of the road. I know this information has been posted before but as a club we are very pleased with the attendance of the Revell UK team at this years ModelFest with the added bonus that they are one of our main sponsors this year. They will be displaying both current and new products that are in the pipeline so have a look at the photos from the Avon show which highlights so of the new ones and especially test shots the Harrier that hopefully they will bring with them and they welcome everyone to come and see them at their stand. Only 6 days to go for ModelFest 2026 hosted by IPMS Farnborough so to get you into the trader perusing mode a closer look at some of the traders who will be at the show. Resin is becoming a great addition to model making with its ability to produce high quality parts,figures and accessories amongst other things. Starting a little introduction to trade stands that will be selling their wares at this year’s Farnborough ModelFest at the Hart Leisure Centre on the 19th September. We’ll start with a small and fairly new name to the list of traders who specialise in resin figures and accessories for dioramas and vignettes and they are SPG Models. Here’s a little sample of some figures I purchased from them at the Avon show in 1 /35 scale. They were new items at the show and feature amongst others these 1940’s figures and the quality is excellent. Starting at £4 upwards, depending on how many figures in the pack, they are a bargain. My favourites were the two lads playing footie and the little lad with his sail boat. No website for them at the moment but apparently one may soon be on the agenda.
