The Sussex Castle Quest ITT is an independent time trial inspired by the Portuguese Castle Quest Ride

Obviously there are lots of Castles in the UK, but as we don't have many long distance ITT type rides down in the South of the UK, we have started the Sussex Castle Quest ITT.

The idea is for participants to visit every major Castle in West and East Sussex. These will be the checkpoints, and the participants take a selfie with it, and then ride on to the next castle.

The route will be set and provided to participants as a standard GPX file. The route will be as off road as is possible, but as some of the castles are in towns, there will be some road and in some cases a slight bit of walking in pedestrian only areas. Some of the Castles are in or near towns, so there will be very good resupply opportunities. To cause delays there will also be cake and beer traps on the course to catch out the unwary rider!

The route is currently being finalised and a group start is planned for the summer of 2020.

The Hampshire edition will follow shortly afterwards and they can be joined up to make a great multi day ride.
