🐑 As part of unravel... autumn 2026, you can join us for a screening of , a charming look into wool manufacturing, crafting, and the creatures who make it possible.

It started with the first photo filmmaker ever took: a blurred sheep’s nose on a school trip when he was just nine. This lifelong love of animals and a deep-seated curiosity to understand their lives drove him to make “Sheep, Actually”.

He opens the film with a thought-provoking proposition: “If you’re going to work with wool, get to know how a sheep lives. Take a walk and meet the sheep.” In the film, Wyatt does just that, taking viewers on an insightful journey to understand the origins and creation of wool, from the lives of sheep to the work of London farmers and makers.

For full details and to book your tickets, check out the link in our bio! 🎥🎟️🐑

“I believe the lives of these remarkable animals are not as well understood as they should be,” says filmmaker Paul Wyatt. “I wanted to create a way for people to see them—and be encouraged to learn more about their lives beyond the film.”

Beneath its woolly surface, “Sheep, Actually” is a surprising and deeply human look at where animals, people, and making meet.

There will be 3 showings on Wed 9 September at 11 am, 3 pm, and 8 pm.

Excitingly, you can bring your yarn to 2 of them! The 11am and 3pm screenings of Sheep Actually will be dimly lit in the auditorium, to allow audiences to bring along a crochet or knitting WIP – or any other reasonably mess-free craft to work on while they watch the documentary!

Pre-show dining is available in the Riverside Café ahead of the show.

🎟️ Ticket information is as follows…

Please note the 3pm screening will be subtitled.

11am & 3pm - £7 (£5 members, students & under 15s)

8pm - £8 (£6 members, £5 students & under 15s)

If you would like to book a wheelchair space or if you have any special requirements, please contact the Box Office on 01252 745444.

The British weather has been doing its thing again, so we’re seriously tempted by some cardigan cast-ons at the moment. We love this bright spring green cardigan by , which seems to bring the sunshine even when it’s cloudy (and raining! And hailing!). Jane used the classic Felix Cardigan pattern by , and yarn from .
